Terms and Conditions
1. Student Company: One or more students from an educational institution who, as part of their
curriculum, form a company under the legal and fiscal responsibility of Stichting Jonge Honden.
2. Stichting Jonge Honden: A foundation that offers educational institutions the opportunity to let
students participate in the concept of a Student Company. Stichting Jonge Honden is responsible for
financial processing, insurance, and reporting to the Tax Authorities.
3. Stichting Studentenbedrijf: Responsible for managing the website www.studentenbedrijf.nl and
www.studentenbedrijf.shop. The foundation has no financial, fiscal, banking, or legal connection
with the Student Companies.
4. Educational Institution: The school or university with which Stichting Jonge Honden has an
agreement to offer the Student Company concept.
5. Reflection period: The period in which the customer may cancel.
6. Users: All visitors of the webshop.
7. Customers: A person who makes a purchase without a business motive.
8. Right of withdrawal: The customer's right to cancel a purchase within the reflection period.
9. Distance contract: A purchase agreement concluded via the internet or telephone.
10. Model withdrawal form: A standard form that the customer can use to cancel, included in the
appendix to these terms.
Article 2 - Details of the Student Company
1. The Student Company operates under the Chamber of Commerce and VAT number of Stichting
Jonge Honden.
2. Stichting Jonge Honden is responsible for the financial, fiscal, banking, and legal actions taken by
the Student Company.

Article 3 - When these terms apply
1. These terms apply to every offer from the Student Company and every agreement concluded via the
internet or telephone.
2. Before making a purchase, the customer can read the terms. If this is not possible, the customer will
receive them digitally so they can be saved.
Article 4 - The offer
1. If an offer has a limited validity or is subject to conditions, this will be clearly indicated.
2. The offer includes a clear description of the product or service. If images are provided, they match
the product. Errors in the offer are not binding.
3. The offer includes all the information the customer needs to understand their rights and obligations.
Article 5 - The agreement
1. The agreement is established as soon as the customer accepts the offer and meets the conditions.
2. If the customer accepts the offer online, they will receive a confirmation by email. If no
confirmation is received, the customer can cancel the agreement.
Article 6 - Right to cancel
1. The customer may cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The Student Company
may ask for the reason, but the customer is not obliged to provide it.
2. The reflection period begins on the day the customer receives the product.
3. For services and digital content, a 14-day reflection period also applies, starting from the date of the
agreement. If the Student Company has already incurred costs to perform the service, the customer
must pay for these.
Article 7 - What the customer must do during the reflection period
1. During the reflection period, the customer must handle the product and packaging carefully. The
product may only be used as it would be in a store.
2. If the product loses value due to the customer's actions, the customer may be held liable.
Article 8 - How the customer can cancel and the associated costs
1. If the customer wishes to cancel, this must be reported within the reflection period via the model
form or in another clear manner.
2. The customer must return the product as soon as possible, but within 5 working days. This is not
necessary if the Student Company offers to collect the product.
3. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in the original packaging.
4. The customer bears the risk of return shipment.
5. The return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
Article 9 - What the Student Company must do upon cancellation
1. The Student Company confirms receipt of the cancellation by email.
2. The Student Company refunds all costs incurred by the customer for the returned product, excluding
return shipping costs.
Article 10 - Exceptions to the right to cancel
1. The customer cannot cancel if they:
o Ordered a custom-made product.
o Purchased a product that spoils quickly.
o Opened a sealed product that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
o Purchased a product that has been irreversibly mixed with other products.
o Opened sealed audio or video recordings.
Article 11 - The price
1. The prices in the offer include VAT and are not increased during the validity period of the offer,
except for changes in VAT rates.
2. Price increases within 3 months of concluding the agreement are only allowed if required by legal
regulations.
3. Price increases after 3 months are only allowed if the customer has the right to terminate the
agreement.
Article 12 - Quality and additional guarantee
1. The Student Company guarantees that the products and services comply with the agreement and
legal requirements.
2. Additional guarantee is a promise that goes beyond the legal obligations of the Student Company.
3. Additional guarantee from the Student Company does not limit the customer's legal rights.
Article 13 - Delivery and execution
1. The Student Company will handle the customer's order with care and deliver it as soon as possible,
no later than within 30 days.
2. If delivery is delayed, the customer will be notified within 30 days. The customer then has the right
to cancel the agreement free of charge.
3. The risk of damage or loss of products lies with the Student Company until delivery.
Article 14 - Payment
1. The customer must pay directly via iDEAL unless otherwise agreed.
Article 15 - Additional rules
1. The customer is informed that they are purchasing from a Student Company, which operates
differently from a regular company.
2. The customer takes this into account regarding orders, returns, and communication.

3. The Student Company operates under the Chamber of Commerce and VAT number of Stichting
Jonge Honden.
4. Stichting Jonge Honden is responsible for the financial, fiscal, banking, and legal actions taken by
the Student Company within the set rules.
5. Teachers from affiliated educational institutions monitor students for compliance with the rules.
6. Both Stichting Jonge Honden, Stichting Studentenbedrijf, and the supervising teachers from the
educational institution can view customer orders and data. This is to support the Student Company
in their educational activities.
